NSCA 5-Stand Sporting Clays is a compact game that fits on a standard skeet field (or similar area). Shooters course of fire is set on a menu. Each machine is numbered so the shooter knows which targets will be attempted (no more than two at a time). A maximum of five shooters can participate at the same time on each field. Shooting is allowed only in the shooting position, or “cage,” and only one person may shoot at one time.
General requirements:
- Fields should have six to eight machines
- 25 targets per round is standard (made up of single targets and pairs of targets).
- A normal round will take approximately 20-30 minutes.
- Targets should be mostly standard type, with a few midi, mini, rabbit, and/or battue.
- One staff person is required to pull the targets per the menu, and perform loading, clean up, etc.
